EXPERIENCE
My 20+ years as a math teacher and tutor helps me give students the skills and strategies to succeed inside and outside the classroom.
-
I can quickly identify the areas where help is most needed and focus on those areas, making sessions effective and engaging.
-
My experience as a classroom teacher means I know the common mistakes students make and have strategies to help students avoid making those errors.
-
I take the time to listen to students and am able to explain topics in a variety of ways.

Middle, high school, and first-year college students who:

are taking in-person math courses including (but not limited to): Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II/Trig, Geometry, PreCalc, College Math

are taking online courses (in any subject) but are doing poorly.
-
want to prepare for the SSAT, SAT, or ACT tests (all sections).
